Detroit was a balmy 55°F today, so I took the opportunity to spend a few hours fully washing the car for the first time in... 5ish months (I know, I’m bad). I’d forgotten how good Lightning Blue looks when it’s not covered in a layer of filth.
I guess it’s the Lotus’s turn next... but I’m already sore, so it’ll have to wait.

Very jealous, sweet ride, great wash job, too. I did both the Grand Cherokee and 4Runner last Sunday. That was a long day!

Love that color. That’ s what a blue car should look like.
As a Mustang GT owner, I’m curious: You actually bought a 350 GT, is it that much better than just a regular Mustang GT? What have your long term impressions been of it?

To be honest, I’ve never driven an S550 GT, so I have no basis for comparison. I mostly bought it because of the styling (I’m pretty lukewarm on the front end of the non-Shelbys), the Shelby-specific Recaros, and the noises the engine makes.
I will say that magneride is fantastic, though that gap was closed when the facelifted models got it as an option. The car rides far better than one would expect, given how stiffly-sprung it is.

Comes up a treat.

Lightning Blue is the very best blue.
Of course I’m biased...
